Inhibitions Forgotten. Confidence Captured.

Throughout history, tweens (ages 10-12) have aspired to be teenagers, while younger teenagers (13-17) have longed to be seen as young adults. Young adults (18-21), in turn, seek to embrace that important transition from adolescence into maturity.

My approach to young person's portrait photography is different from traditional studios. I don’t simply take photographs — I create a space where inhibitions are forgotten and confidence can emerge. I empower my young clients to take ownership of their image.

Together, we collaborate to bring their vision to life, incorporating their ideas along with clothing, props, and personal elements that truly reflect who they are.

I recognise the powerful influence social media has on shaping self-image, particularly among young people. That’s why I try and encourage my clients to let go of comparison, and celebrate their individuality, and feel confident in their identity. My aim is to create portraits that are authentic, meaningful, and timeless.

In today’s world of selfies and social media, young people are increasingly aware of how they want to be seen — but often, it’s when inhibitions are forgotten that the most genuine images emerge. They’re looking for something bold, modern, fun, and truly reflective of their personality.
